Hi Everyone, I'm Thomas, and this is my first blog post. Before officially starting my new role, I had the incredible opportunity to meet many of my future colleagues at the company Christmas party. It was the perfect informal setting to get a genuine sense of the workplace culture.
I was pleasantly surprised by the warm atmosphere. Every team member I met was genuinely welcoming and showed a sincere interest in getting to know me. Within moments of arriving, I felt an immediate sense of belonging – as if I were already part of the team.
Those initial positive impressions were fully confirmed during my first week. The inclusive and collaborative spirit I sensed at the Christmas party translated seamlessly into my first Data School week. Especially the reflective presentation from DSDE8 together with their whiteboard message gave me extra motivation for the next four months with the data school. The insights shared excite me for the upcoming months.
