You get paid to learn. Four months of full-time training with your cohort, then client work with organisations like a major UK telecoms operator, a high street bank and a national food retailer for the rest of your contract.
Alongside our analytics cohorts we now run a data and analytics engineering stream, with its own curriculum, its own coaches and its own cohort. The contract, the pay and the support are the same. What you learn, and what you send us to apply, are not.

Four months in the classroom with your cohort and a coach who is there every day. Tableau in depth, Alteryx, Tableau Prep and SQL, then visual best practice, data storytelling and how to run a workshop with a client.
Consulting runs through all of it, and most of our consultants pick up one or two certifications along the way.
You move into client-facing work, all arranged by us, usually inside an analytics or BI team at the client with one or more of our people alongside you. You will prepare data, build dashboards people use every day, and help teams get answers out of what they already have.
Most people finish their contract and move into analytics roles elsewhere. We help you get there, and we stay in touch through our alumni network.
The application is different for each one. Both take about a weekend of work.
We are around 300 people across the UK, the US and Germany. You will sit alongside world-leading experts in analytics and engineering, certified solution architects, colleagues with decades of experience.
The team runs on curiosity, so questions go in both directions. Your cohort matters just as much: you go through the four months together, and you lean on each other once you are out with clients.

Whilst some of our team have backgrounds in data or maths, we don't ask for entry requirements related to your experience, education, or existing technical skills, and we welcome both career starters and career changers.

Lorna started her data journey during her masters degree in 2014. Due to her love of sports and data, she became part of the second cohort of The Data School UK.
Once Lorna had finished The Data School, she went on to speak at many Tableau Conferences, which involved Speed Tipping.
Now Lorna co-leads the community initiative Workout Wednesday with several others and co-leads the North West UK Tableau User Group. She also authored the book Tableau Desktop Cookbook (2021). Lorna is one of our Tableau Visionaries and Tableau Public Ambassadors.
In her spare time she loves her cats and sports, especially Rugby League.
