This week, we had our first client project with a great non-profit organization. Since it was the week of Thanksgiving, we had limited project time. The first day we had to come in very early at 8:30 a.m. to have a zoom meeting with the client. It was a bit intimidating to speak with the client, let’s call her Ms.X. Although Ms.X was very nice and welcoming. The next two days were full of planning, cleaning with Alteryx, building and dashboarding with Tableau. I’ve learned a lot from my program manager on how to lead a team. She had previous experience from her previous job; I definitely took notes. One important thing I would advise is to always take a temperature check; if your team lacks unity or direction. One the day of the presentation it was surprisingly easy sailing. Of course there's always room for improvement, but I'm really proud of our first project.
