Along with the rest of the Data School I’ve been looking at the PostgresSQL database in Tableau Server to help server admins understand what is going on in their deployment.
As an admin you might want to know what content on your server is being viewed most regularly and which views your users are finding most useful. By using the historical events table in the database we can extract all the view events and users and create the dashboard below.
