Tobin is a naturally curious problem solver who combines his love for working with numbers and his background in Organisational Psychology from The London School of Economics to look beyond the surface of his work. Focusing not just on what the data says, but what it can do for you.
His experience spans a range of industries. He has led a project for a national bus company, enabling them to better understand fleet performance in one of the UK’s largest cities, using Tableau to communicate its ability to clearly communicate insights. In the rail sector, he built a Power BI report that helped a client see how external factors, such as weather, affect customer behaviour, supporting better planning around high-risk periods.
Tobin has also supported a start-up in the employment sector by creating a partner-level dashboard used in conversations with potential investors. In addition, he has improved customer-facing dashboards for one of the UK’s largest steel stockholders, making them easier to use and more effective in presenting their stock range.
He brings an approachable and hands-on approach to his work, having delivered both one-to-one training and group sessions for professionals looking to build their data skills. Whether working with individuals or teams, Tobin aims to make data more accessible and useful in day-to-day decision-making.
Outside of work, Tobin is a keen field hockey player, competing weekly for a local London side. He also enjoys cooking and discovering new bakeries around the city with friends.
