Sijia has a background in Behavioural and Experimental Economics, she joined the Data School after completing a PhD degree at Durham University. Data visualisation to her is both an art and science, it’s amazing how effectively it makes complex data more accessible. Sijia’s passionate about working with data and providing data-driven insights into human perception which enables confident strategic decision-making.
She’s been so impressed with the eye-catching dashboards Tableau creates, it is the best tool to show potential connections and to assist digital storytelling. Outside work, Sijia plays a beautiful Chinese musical instrument, she also does photo shoot for bloggers, and enjoys spending her time in kitchen cooking and making cocktails with friends.
