Michał is a Data Analytics Consultant currently on a long term engagement with Pret A Manger, supporting the modernisation of internal reporting and analytics. His work spans data modelling, data transformation and preparation, data ingestion and pipelines, reporting governance, and stakeholder enablement, using Snowflake, Power BI, Power BI Service, SQL Server, SSMS, SSRS, Alteryx, and Power Automate.
Prior to Pret, Michał completed a placement with Lloyds Banking Group as part of the BI Adoption Team, where he helped improve internal reporting systems and supported broader adoption through practical enablement and consulting. Before his time with the banking group, Michał worked with GB Hockey, leveraging Tableau and Tableau Prep to deliver performance reporting and insight in support of Paris 2024 preparation. Over the past couple of years, he has also delivered short term client projects using Power BI and Tableau for organisations including BBC Finance, Playter, UK Sport’s Institute, and ASDA.
Michał’s analytics foundation was shaped in Germany through applied academic work, including optimisation and simulation projects using R and JaamSim for OptoVision, an optical lens manufacturer. Before joining The Information Lab, Michał worked in the medical sector in the Frankfurt region for Fresenius Medical Care, supporting Medical Affairs operations across EMEA, and earlier contributed to market and research landscape work in the medical device space at Fryer Diagnostics. He has extensive international exposure through competitive Model United Nations conferences, alongside a long standing interest in geopolitics and history, and he brings a structured project management mindset to his work across varied stakeholder environments.
