Lina has a background in Design which facilitated her passion for problem solving, creativity, and communication. Now at The Data School, she uses these qualities at her placements combined with an analytical and data-driven mindset to deliver insightful projects.
Through The Data School Lina has had the opportunity to experience data in multiple businesses, such as sports clubs, insurance, and finance. Which led to diverse projects in Tableau and Alteryx – which not only strengthened her technical skills but also her client and project management skills.
One of her placements was at a multi-international investment bank. This work included creating a suite of Tableau dashboards while also validating data with external teams, all while under pressure to deliver last minute requirements to key stakeholders.
From her most recent placement at a multi-international insurance company, she began the initial rework of a manual Excel process by building it in Alteryx to carry out a key reporting check and generate a crucial report that is used for further reporting.
Outside of work, Lina enjoys being creative and working on a range of craft projects. She also enjoys playing games with her friends and listening to music.
