Lily Kiziriya is a Data Analytics Consultant at The Information Lab who believes in the power of data and how it can serve as a valuable tool for both social impact and operational efficiency. Their journey into analytics began during an undergraduate project on water-quality sensors. Seeing how the absence of real-time data contributed to tragedies like the Flint Water Crisis, they realized that accessible information is vital for public safety.
Before their career in Data Analytics, they applied their optimization mindset to the workforce–from restructuring inventory systems as a retail associate to scripting automated software updates as an IT intern. In every role, they sought to transform chaotic, manual workflows into streamlined, logical processes.
They hold a Data Analytics certificate from LaGuardia Community College. When not working with data, they can be found rock climbing, solving bouldering problems with the same strategic focus they bring to their work.
