Jude loves seeing where data and strategy meet, particularly how a sharp understanding of numbers can drive smarter everyday decision-making.
Jude holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Sheffield, where he developed technical expertise in data cleaning and statistical analysis using Stata. He has worked as a Business Optimisation Analyst and rotated across different teams, including pricing and profitability and business intelligence. This is where he frequently worked with large datasets to make sure that commercial strategy aligned with product pricing.
Whilst working at The Information Lab, he has been involved in:
AI Agent Development: Built AI agents in Snowflake capable of delivering accurate and consistent answers to business questions, including designing the underlying semantic views, agent tools and orchestration.
Enablement and Training: Led a training session for both clients and the public on Tableau Prep and data preparation, helping people build clean datasets ready for analysis.
Data Visualisation: Built two Tableau dashboards, covering the balance sheet and income statement, using self-generated mock financial data to demonstrate how Tableau Extensions and targeted chart types can support financial decision-making.
Project Management: Took on responsibility as project manager for a team of seven, delivering Power BI dashboards that tracked business performance and gave stakeholders faster visibility into how the business was performing.
Data Preparation: Cleaned and transformed data for a healthcare provider using Alteryx, enabling them to build custom maps in Tableau for precise geographical analysis.
In his spare time, Jude enjoys playing a range of sports, particularly football, swimming and squash. He is also passionate about electronic music and has independently learnt music production, exploring sound through the use of external hardware.
