Ian has enjoyed playing with data pretty much since he’s been able to count. From reading football scores on Ceefax and scoring his brother’s cricket matches as a child he quickly picked up a habit of recalling scores and spotting patterns.
In recent years, whilst studying Engineering at university, he was drawn into football analytics spheres and discovered other members of the community creating really useful tools in Tableau Public. During this period Ian realised communicating information effectively is an art form and Tableau software recognises this putting data visualisation front and centre.
