Holly Phillips

With a background in Liberal Arts from the University of Exeter, Holly brings an interdisciplinary perspective to data and problem-solving. She studied French alongside Economics and Business, including a year abroad working in Paris as an International Business Developer at a French accounting and consulting firm. Working in a French-speaking environment with clients and colleagues across Europe, North America and Africa strengthened her ability to communicate clearly across different cultures and quickly understand unfamiliar business contexts.

Holly joined The Data School because of her interest in the combination of analytical problem solving and communication. She is particularly interested in the human side of data: making complex information accessible, understanding the story behind the numbers and communicating insights in a way that helps people to make better decisions. She is looking forward to developing her skills in Tableau, Alteryx and other data tools while learning how to apply them to a range of business problems.

Outside of work, Holly enjoys learning new languages and has volunteered with ParkRun on a weekly basis for over 10 years.
