Hayfaa Yaser Qays Al-Sheikh Hamid

Curious by nature and driven by a passion for solving complex problems, Hayfaa has built an interdisciplinary background spanning mathematics, economics, and international development. She graduated from Queen Mary University of London with a BSc in Mathematics, Statistics, and Financial Economics before pursuing an MSc in Emerging Economies and International Development at King's College London, combining a strong quantitative foundation with a broader understanding of global social and economic issues.

Throughout her academic journey, she developed a genuine interest in using data not only to understand complex challenges but also to identify practical, evidence-based solutions. She has gained experience working with R, Stata, C, and C++, applying statistical and analytical techniques across a range of research and quantitative projects.

She enjoys uncovering patterns, asking meaningful questions, and translating data into insights that support better decision-making. Her interdisciplinary background allows her to approach problems from both a technical and human perspective, combining analytical thinking with an understanding of the wider economic and social context behind the data.
