Harvey is a data and analytics engineering consultant with a proven track record of building scalable data architectures, modernising data stacks, and driving strategic business insights. Certified in Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI, and dbt, Harvey has delivered high-impact data solutions across the retail, financial services, and pharmaceutical sectors.
Most recently, in January 2026, Harvey advanced his technical expertise by completing an intensive data engineering program. He successfully delivered end-to-end projects utilising Python, AWS S3, Snowflake, and dbt, with a core focus on data engineering fundamentals, ETL/ELT pipeline design, orchestration, data governance, and overall data strategy.
Previously, Harvey worked within an agile data engineering team at Montagu Private Equity, where he delivered a comprehensive end-to-end ESG data project. His responsibilities included migrating critical data sources, implementing robust data validation and quality checks, and supporting dashboard development.
Prior to this, at Sartorius, he spearheaded a Salesforce CRM data migration and optimisation initiative that reduced dashboard load times from minutes to seconds, while also delivering SQL training to upskill the wider marketing team.
At Viasat, he designed and implemented secure, scalable systems for financial and commercial data integration, significantly enhancing agility, accuracy, and cost efficiency.
Harvey has a First-Class degree in Economics from Durham University, specialising in econometrics, corporate govenance, environmental policy, and international development.
