After graduating with an MSci in Astrophysics from University College London, and impressed by Tableau’s ability to make quick and useful data insights, George successfully joined The Information Lab. Prior to this, he had gained professional experience in science communication and retail industries.
As a skilled consultant in Tableau and Alteryx, George has worked with multiple clients including back-to-back 6-month placements at Credit Suisse and a third placement at PwC UK.
During these placements, George achieved success in various areas, including:
· Creating dashboards for senior board-level executives
· Using code repositories and version control for dashboard development
· Designing and structuring SQL data tables
· Processing Finance, HR and investment tracking data.
George has since obtained Tableau Desktop Certified Associate and Analyst, Alteryx Designer Advanced and Power BI Data Analyst certifications.
Apart from work, George has diverse interests including running, rugby, and astronomy.
