Fotiana is an enthusiastic professional with a degree in Biomedical Science, and a bilingual language repertoire in Mandarin and Greek. Her data journey began during her undergraduate thesis in the identification of novel SARS-CoV-2 receptors on macrophages, where she discovered her passion for data analytics, learning to use R for statistical analysis and data visualization.
During her time at The Data School, Fotiana is determined to build on her pre-existing foundation in SQL and Tableau which she started as a side project while working full time in the Biotech industry. She is currently working on further developing skills in data preparation and visualization by learning tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI and SQL. Fotiana is eager to apply her skills to the Finance and Sports industries, where she can fully channel her potential and drive results.
Outside of work, you’ll find Fotiana at the golf course, improving her approach-game and chasing scratch!
