Fotiana is a results-driven consultant with a degree in Biomedical Science from the University of Surrey, and a bilingual language repertoire in Mandarin and Greek. Her data journey began during her undergraduate thesis in the identification of novel SARS-CoV-2 receptors on macrophages, where she discovered her passion for data analytics, learning to use R for statistical analysis and data visualization.
During her time at The Data School, Fotiana has built extensively on her pre-existing foundation in SQL and Tableau which she started as a side project while working full time in the Biotech industry. She has developed strong skills in data preparation, visualization and story-telling by learning tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI and SQL. Fotiana not only has demonstrated her technical expertise but has also honed her consultancy skills in an array of projects which involved the production of an MVP tailored to the stakeholders' needs.
Outside of work, you’ll find Fotiana at the golf course, improving her approach-game and chasing scratch!
