Fergus graduated from the University of the West of England in 2019 with an Economics degree. During and post his degree he has gained experience in several different industries, ranging from defence to wine and also car manufacturing. Drawing upon his past experience of analysing data in various roles, and as part of his degree, he decided to pursue a career in data. Tableau particularly appealed to Fergus as it incorporates a more creative and practical approach to analysing and visualising data.
He is an advanced user of Alteryx and Tableau and during his time at the Data School, he has worked for various clients in a number of different industries. After many client interactions he has been on longer term placements at PwC and BAE Systems.
