Ellie graduated from King's College London with a First Class Master Degree in Physics, focusing on computational biophysics. For her dissertation, she investigated protein folding by developing a novel optimisation algorithm in Python. Through running simulations, she collected and extensively analysed model-generated data. This data was used to create visualisations which were crucial to the outcome of the research.
Having developed skills in statistical analysis, mathematical and computational modelling, and programming, she began exploring data analysis with personal projects on publicly available charity data. She became motivated by finding creative solutions to the challenges working with data presents and decided to pursue it as a career. She is passionate about sustainable energy, climate solutions and biophysics.
In her spare time, Ellie loves to play the saxophone and listen to music. She also loves to knit and is a very enthusiastic cook.
