With a background in Biochemistry, Caitlyn brings a scientific approach to the world of data. Her passion for the field was ignited during a protein engineering Master’s project, where she discovered the power of data visualization in translating complex biological datasets into clear, actionable insights.
Caitlyn has two years of data analysis experience using Tableau and Alteryx to transform data into valuable reports:
Executive & Commercial Reporting: Developed financial performance dashboards for the CEO of a multinational aeronautics firm and tracked multi-million dollar sales transactions.
Process Automation: Replaced days of manual tasks with dynamic Alteryx apps, saving the data team value time.
Conversion Reporting: Designed & built dbt pipelines and Tableau Cloud dashboards to monitor prospect-to-sales conversions, enabling data-driven decisions on resource allocation to drive up sales.
Cloud Migration: Successfully migrated complex audit reports from legacy systems to Tableau Cloud.
In January 2026, Caitlyn completed a month-long Data Engineering training programme. Refining her knowledge in building scalable, best-practice data architectures using skills such as:
Languages & Tools: Python, SQL, Snowflake, dbt, and GitHub.
Data Orchestration: Experience in extracting, loading, and transforming (ELT) pipelines.
Caitlyn is also a committee member for internal Information Lab’s Women’s Network. Where she organizes events, promotes communication to drive up inclusivity & diversity to support and elevate women working in the data industry.
