Bridget Boateng

Bridget graduated with an Economics degree from the University of Kent, where her interest in data blossomed during her first year, applying econometric methods to make complex data understandable.

In her final year, Bridget discovered the Data School through GRB, finding pleasure in using Tableau for creative visualisations that combined her analytical skills.

Her first placement was at PwC as a Data Analytics Facilitator , where she trained over 200 staff in Power BI, Tableau, and Alteryx, focusing on data preparation and visualisation techniques.

At the University of York, Bridget led the International Arrivals Dashboard project using Tableau to track student arrivals. She also trained the university's data analytics team in Tableau, delivering tailored content for their professional development.

During her tenure as an Alteryx Consultant at Goldman Sachs, she taught over 100 participants advanced Alteryx topics including macros, regex, and apps, adjusting training content based on real-time feedback.

In her recent role as a Power BI Consultant at Inforgr8, she specialised in resolving complex Power BI issues and optimising dashboard performance through effective troubleshooting with DAX and Power Query.

Certified in Microsoft Power BI, Alteryx, and Azure, she continues to enhance her skills through courses on platforms like DataCamp and Udemy, focusing on SQL, demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning.

In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family, going to concerts, bowling and trying new cuisines.
