I first heard about Tableau during my MSc in Sports Performance Analysis at Middlesex University. Tableau kept coming up in conversations during my different work placements but I never had a chance to actually use it.

After a period of time when I focused a bit more on developing my video editing and presentation skills I came across The Information Lab and The Data School. The first time I actually used Tableau was for my application to DS2. I made it to the last stage of the recruitment process but I didn’t make it that time.

Far from discouraging me we could say I got the bug for data visualization and for Tableau. I didn’t give up as I knew Tableau was an amazing tool and I already felt the great atmosphere at The Data School. I kept practicing as much as I could and I applied again to DS3. Fortunately, this time I got a place.

Now I am really looking forward to learning as much as I can and apply this knowledge to as many aspects of my life as I can.
