The first time you open Alteryx, you’ll find the super-useful Configuration window, which is how you make each tool do exactly what you want it to.
At some point you’ll find yourself accidentally clicking the cross in the top right hand corner of the Configuration window. The window will disappear, making it (apparently) impossible for you to configure your tools.
It’s easy to get the Configuration window back. Click on the View header and select Configuration. Alternatively, just press Ctrl+Alt+C. Your Configuration window will appear.
